Mystic Knight Recounciler "Caine" & Phantom Wolf "Haagar"

This is the other Commission Illustration that :Fuchikoma42: created for one of his characters from the Palladiumbooks RPG “RIFTS”.

Featured in the illustration is Caine & Haagar, from the Rifts Mystic Knight of the White Rose. In the foreground we have the powerful minotaur, “Caine” is the bronco Recounciler Mystic Knight based off of the Mystic Knights in Federation of Magic & Madhaven. Caine towers at 10’5 feet tall with a rich dark black fur coat. His Armor is that of an ancient style adorned with spikes & chains, while his helmet is a skull of a Gallu Demonbull from Hades. He is un-wielding a TW Inferno Blade that is igniting its flame, which can be summoned as a flame aura around Cain himself. A ghost image of Caine engulfed in the flame aura with the Gallu Demonbull skull helmet on, can also be seen in the background. In the mid-ground we see Haagar, a large female Phantom Wolf which towers at 11 feet at the shoulder and is one of the largest members of her species. Haagar is the devoted mount & companion that Caine rides and can allow both rider & mount to become nearly transparent. Featured is Haagar partially in her phantom mode as the lower part of her becomes more like a transparent phantom. Haagar also is adorned in specialized bard armor that coincides with Caine’s armor.

I had fun with this one as well, though I worked off & on to complete it due to other workloads. Fuchima just keeps coming up with awesome concoctions utilizing the various RPG products from Palladiumbooks and this turned out to be another one. There is just so much to enjoy & create in the RIFTS RPG with the mixtures of technology, magic psionics, beast, aliens, etc.

If I had to “estimate’ the time invested I would guess around 10-11+ hours, though it was likely more. I used 14 X 14 100lb. sheet of Strathmore Smooth Bristol sheet with a Zebra 05 pencil to get er done!!1
