Artist's Comments

Ahhh, A piece from the Palladiumbooks Rifts China II RPG. These were called lighting warriors, and I am finding out they might also be called the "crazies". So I might stand corrected. When it comes to mystical martial arts I am all in, smile. Adding technology and demonese armored skin was a serious bonus for me. I designed to variations for the positive and negative energy types.

Well Thank you Greenspoon! You really making me feel good and appreciated. There is so much talent here and I just got here, so its a wonderful feeling and welcome. I am glad you like the designs. I wanted to assist in the development of the actual Gun kata combat kinectics so I added the tassels much like the Wu Tang & Shaolin styled tai chi swords. That way when doing all of those John Woo/ Desperado techniques, they can use the tasseles as distractions and rope cord slaps, etc. They also serve as a significance of recognized maturity in the use of weapon profiency. As to the mask, well hey I aways liked something sinister and sleek, but hey, who doesn't. Thank You again!!!

Well thank you Greenspoon. I cant take the credit for some of the stuff though(Palladiumbooks) as it was pre-written descriptions that were the basis or the foundation for us to illustrate from. But pulling it off for the first visual rendering time is another story, So I appreciate your kind words!

That's Ok though. You still have to have a good skill to be able to put in on paper like you have done.

As long as you have the imagination, the perserverence and the tools, you will be surprised what you can put on paper. Patience with ourselves is key. I wish I could successfully force all of my ideas onto paper, lol.

ehehe me too. I have alot of ideas, but at this point in time I lack the skills to actually draw or paint them. I've decided to try to create them through photographs instead :)
