This is an illustration for an undisclosed RPG company. The property contains vampires and lycanthropes, which I love to illustrate. The very fact that it has my favorite wild feline, the Panthera onca, or better known as the "jaguar", made it a winner for me to do and fulfill. I had fun with this one. The jaguar alone is lb for lb, one of the most powerful and combative of the felines and it predates 85% of its natural co-inhabitat species. The jaguar's unusually large head (compared to other big cats) and powerful canine teeth are marvelously adapted for crushing the hard shells of turtles and tortoises, and breaking through the extremely hard integuments of caimans and crocodiles. Jaguars also feed on the "Arapaima giga", a gigantic armored fish, reputed to be the world's largest freshwater fish. In Brazil and Venezuela, jaguar predation on the world's largest snake (the Anaconda Eunectes murinus) has also been reported. So one can only imagie if taking all this into account how a lycanthropic version might be. I mean if lycanthropic wolves are so poweful and they aren't even comparable or in the same league as a jaguar(single comparisons not packs), then imagine the proportions & the design of the true lycanthropic, Werejaguar....
The werejaguar pictured here is thrashing a nasty Vampire who is a Roofstalker Assassin armed with a talon cloak(title and weapon ideas by me actually), against some good ole concrete to pin it for good with a vibro blade. Who needs stakes all the time, smile. The human form of the Werejaguar when not in her Lycanthropic form is also pictured here in her Latina volumptious but yet sleek form. She also can be a full form melanistic (black) jaguar as well, but that would have been too much for this illo IMHO.
This project is in conjunction with the Anti-Wardog posted in my gallery and some of the work posted by
Just check out his Black Jack Vampire female.
Needless to be redundant about your ability to create zooanthropes. It reminds me of several designs created for the Bloody Roar games, and to tell the truth in terms of quality surpasses almost them all.
There is a very interesting feature here, altough not completed at all: I notice the werejaguar is about to give the definitive stab to the vampire because of the motion blur of the knife, but looking closer to it you'll see the edge of it too blunt so it doesn't go according to the rest of it.
It would look ultimate having this frontal edge smudged or at least a little blurred.
Kudos again

interesting assessment and always I thank you for the compliments. Yeah I through a motion blurr on the blade actually to grasp the vibro blade effect. The actual illustration however has the blade as sharp as a genius, lol
perhaps I should have tackled the vibration effect a different manner to preserve the sharp edge factor, hmmmm
